The symbolic meaning of Oranges in Feng Shui

The meaning of oranges in Feng Shui associate to longevity, good health, good fortune, and prosperity. The number of oranges is specific as well.

8 = abundance

9 = longevity

If you prefer a smaller number of oranges, you could display 3 or 6.

3 = stability

6 = good luck

Where to place the oranges? Many tend to place their oranges on an altar, especially for the Lunar New Year. In general, displaying oranges in a dining room, living room or kitchen are great spaces.

Displaying real oranges are best (especially if you eat them often), however if you're always on the go, you could display faux oranges. In the practice of Feng Shui its also believed that citrus fruits can ward off negative energy.

In California, many of the residents have orange trees growing directly on their property, which is also a great energy to have on the premises.
